EVERY teacher brings unique life experience that we can draw upon. As an edtech coach you may encounter veteran educators who are hesitant. If they do not feel that you value what they bring to the table, they are less likely to embrace your message. Validate those you serve and offer strategies/tech that builds upon their unique experience.
Consider these questions for educators:
In your experience, what has worked well? - For example, if for the past twenty years, a teacher has excelled in facilitating student-to-student academic conversations, we might build upon this strength by offering breakout rooms for video calls and/or Flipgrid for asynchronous discussions.
